What an exciting adventure for our Grade 4 students! On Thursday, our Grade 4 classes travelled to the Royal Tyrrell Museum for an overnight stay. Students enjoyed a variety of hands-on learning experiences, including a hike, exploring the Cretaceous Gardens, fossil casting, and fossil digs. After a busy day of learning, students cooled off with a swim at the local outdoor pool. On Friday morning, they travelled to the The Historic Reesor Ranch Wool Mill where they created their own wool art projects. The group then enjoyed lunch before heading home with many great memories. A huge thank you to our teachers and parent volunteers who helped make this trip such a fun, educational, and memorable experience for our students. Irvine School CTF students had the opportunity to visit the bees 🐝 at Neubauer Farms! Smokey Beekeeper and Sweet Pure Honey shared their knowledge about bees, beekeeping, and the honey production process. 🍯 Students enjoyed learning about the important role bees play in our environment and seeing firsthand how honey is produced.
