Monday 31st October we will be selling cookies, toffee apples etc which were made by the foods class 😋 Grade 5 - 9 can purchase the foods on Monday and on Tuesday 1st November K to Grade 4. All money raised will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. What a great weekend of volleyball for all 5 of our junior high volleyball teams. A boys took gold at Senator Gershaw and our B boys got second at Parkside. Our A girls had an extremely strong showing and played some of the best volleyball that they’ve played all season against some really tough out of town teams. Our C girls placed 4th at Senator Gershaw and our B girls won first in Tier 4 at NDA and are bringing home a banner! Way to go athletes and coaches, great work everyone!

Congrats to the A Boys for capturing GOLD at the Swamp in Bow Island last night. It was a night of trying out new positions and playing with GRIT! Way to go Tigers!

Just afew reminders :- Monday, October 31st is our Halloween Parade 🎃 🧙🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️🦹‍♂️🦹‍♀️🦹🧛‍♂️ the parade will start at 1pm in the school gym. Students can bring their Halloween Costumes to school and get changed over the lunch hour. Tuesday, November 1st we begin our Food Drive. Donations can be brought in with students we also have cash donations online through school cash. Thursday, November 3rd is picture retake day and also Kindergarten pictures. Have a great weekend 😀

Great weekend for our C girls Volleyball team placing 3rd in their first regular tourney of the season at AMS! Also congrats to our B girls who had a strong showing at Senator Gershaw and came in 4th against some tough competition!

This team yet again! They took 7P to a third set to win 23-21 in the bronze medal match! What an absolute pleasure to watch, coach, and cheer on! Great job team!!!

Huge shout-out to the ADC fall clean-up team. Everything has been scraped, pulled out, drained and cleaned up. It’s the close of what has been an amazing first year! Already looking forward to next spring when we start all over again!

Our CTF Foods class were very busy this afternoon. Students started their new CTF options today. In foods we made different types of pancakes, some without the use of eggs! cheese scones. We also make meals for students that may forget their lunch today we made grilled cheese sandwiches. In our freezer we have no bean Chilli & Macaroni pizza bites which our previous foods class made. We also get to sample our food after we've made it 😋 We have lots of options for CTF Foods, Firearms and Archery, Active Living which includes board games and wellness also our Musical Theatre will be presenting a production in January 2023 called The Wild Wild West ! #prairierosesd8 #myprps #ForgeFutures #irvineschool #foodsclass

Oh this team! So much growth is such a small amount of time. Going into the semi final game against some tough compo. Making it to top four of NDA’s annual tournament is such a great accomplishment for these young men! Let’s go Tigers! 🐅 Edit: we played our hearts out but fell short of the finals. We made the oppo work for it though!
